Crysis Over Local Servers...

So i've had Crysis for awhile now and decided to play it on the Local servers.

Do alot of people play on the Local servers or will it be a waste of time downloading the patches etc...

Any inputs will be great :D
 
games.saix.net has a server, but it's very quiet and even if it has 1 or 2 users, it's pretty boring...

To really enjoy it, you should probably play INT but that will cost you... this game for me was never fun online.... I always found myself going back to COD4 or BF2.

I know that site has them.

Ya i play COD4 at the moment but it gets a bit boring eventually so looking for other FPS local games and i've never liked BF2 really.

So in other words your saying its a waste of time.

I remember playing BF2, ahhhh fantastic game in you like modern warfare,
And BF 2142 is one of the best multiplayer games around...

PS, why do they call it warfare if it's anything but fair?

Note the spelling of "fare" and "fair".

Fare: An agenda of things to do.
Fair: Free from favoritism or self-interest or bias or deception.

Am just patching my game for rage.As i see there is a few ppl on the nag forums that planning on playing it at rage.But i don't know about the local servers.
 
I heard all Crysis players moved to the IS server, because Saix's one sucked so much.

The international servers lag MASSIVLY on Crysis. Just cant do anything at all.

COD4 its still possible to play and win but for me Crysis was impossible. You die before you even know it.
 
The Crysis community in South Africa is a bit small, but it has been growing the last couple of months. Mostly due to people getting bored of games like COD4 etc.

IS did have server for a short while, but it was shut down. The SGS server is still there, but it has it's issues. During the week there is very little players as most people work, study and have end of the month Cap issues. Also, the SGS server has a nasty habit of dying every few days, only comming back online the following morning.

Best times to try Crysis is over weekend nights, especially Sundays from 5pm onwards, though I think everyone will be waiting for SGS or IS to start hostng a Wars server now.

With the release of Crysis Wars, I think Crysis will pick up due to alot of bug fixes and game engine optimizations. This moring I asked the guys at IS to look into getting a Wars server up. Lets see what happens.
