Out of curiosity how can one isp have problems with openserve and another not. Peering? Agreements?

Yeh that’s my question as well. If Openserve is having issues, why is it only CW that’s experiencing those problems. What I would like to know is, that if anybody who is on CW that doesn’t have their line managed by them, if they are experiencing issues
 
No notices sent out to Openserve wholesale partners about any issue, me thinks issa lie because someone forgot to pay their bills...
I don't think it is as simple as a bill not being paid. OpenServe are unlikely to cut off a whole ISP's customer base without warning to the ISP.

I think there is a deeper more serious technical problem between OpenServe, CrystalWeb and EvoNet. Likely CrystalWeb/Evonet switched to some other system that doesn't work with OpenServe. Judging by the time the issue is persisting they also don't know what the problem is our how to fix it yet and there is a blame game going on between the two as to who is at fault.
 
If I recall, Crystal Web uses Web Africa for their Openserve line rentals... Whether that has changed or not in the past year I'm not sure.

Easy way to find out, order a migration to another company, phone and ask for migration feasibility to be done over the phone, the agent will be able to tell you which operator currently holds the line...
 
My line is definitely suspended.. what's better, I can't even make phone calls from my Telkom land line.
Double checked my Telkom account now and definitely nothing outstanding on my account.

Holy shi!tballs this is a scr3w-up.

Then I decided to phone Telkom about 3 hours later and they told me it was because my line was suspended but the lady sorted it out very quickly for me.

What number did you call for Telkom?
 
Earlier they told me that my line suspension was due to their issues, and now on chat they said they don't know.
Something strange is going on.
 
Still down for me. Was told this was going to be resolved by close of business today. Clearly not, and its a weekend now. Major **** this now, and I'm done now

Who is your line with? Telkom or CW?

My Line is with CW but I wasn't getting any luck with them so I tried my luck with Telkom and they helped me out and they sorted it out immediately. I phoned 10210
 
I'm going to have to try my luck now with Telkom as well.

No live support it seems today, so I guess no connection for the entire weekend. I'm done
