Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

I did this when we were first advised to. It did not help in this situation. This was clearly an error on their part that they do not want to admit. I am already looking at signing up with another ISP, but I don't know which one is currently the best.
Same here. Still on adsl but line definitely needs to go to and stay with Telkom.
 
We're getting fibre soon... next 3 - 6 months. Was hoping to just leave things as they are...but not now hey.
 
Im still down... Was hoping Telkom would have removed the suspension now. Im definately going to request a refund of sorts, and ask that my Line be moved into the holding pool.
 
I'm also still down... looks like we'll be down all weekend.
 
I was on chat now and they have no news... very short replies. They did say that most of their adsl subscribers are affected.
 
Out of interest sake, is there a case to be had here. We have made payment, but our lines suspended, and CW not telling us, is pretty unethical behavior.

I know somebody took Afrihost to task a while back, so who was that organisation?

but you might do better with CPA and related ombudsmen. If you paid via credit card I suppose you could go and ask your bank for a reversal. If this really falls through open a case with SAPS as well.

If this continues, then yeh i might as well look to the CPA, as something was taken from me unlawfully. You cant just suspend my account, knowing full well that i have paid, and then you cant rectify it immediatly
 
So which other ISP has a package similar to the uncapped, unshaped package? It's the only reason why I have stayed with them for so long...

Same with me, but ive had enough now. Going to Telkoms uncapped package now
 
Are you guys able to call from your telephone line?
Even normal calls say my line is suspended.

What about businesses, people who use their alarms on their home line...etc...
 
And another day goes by now without a single notification from them... no communication, nothing.

Wish consumers had power to do something, but in reality each one of alone can do absolutely nothing.

I can still make calls yes. Only my DSL portion down
 
I can't make calls either, says my services are suspended. That was what Telkom said they would put through for reconnection when I called them. Still no service though.
Same with me.. I guess this will only be handled again on Monday. So another day of frustration.
