I know this, but we all were on IS accounts last month, or the majority was anyway. What is wrong with IS btw?
The star system for one, and correct me if I am wrong, but CW won't have direct control over shaping and throttling.
Double espresso works for me, cos shortly afterwards, IP.
No I was not hinting at throttling, capped or uncapped at all. Why I asked IS itself. I hear their capped accounts are quite fast though.
My speeds are truly crawling today.
Started a PS3 game download at about 12:00 today, maybe a bit later. It has downloaded 1706MB/12GB since then till now(17:00).
This is on a 4Mbps line.
Please bring on the new solution.
+1@CW: Could you let us know what this all new system entails? New back bone, different routing, etc.

But there's no new thresholds or anything to worry about on the new system. We may at some point introduce a threshold mechanism, but we'll always be fair about it, ensure that there are proper alternatives, and ensure that as few users are affected as possible. IF we ever introduce such thresholds, that's our policy.
First u tell us that u will only ever shape p2p ... Then u added NNTP to the list
Just go a reply from support about this. Don't wanna quote the whole email as I dunno if that's allowed, but it boils down to "wait it out until later this afternoon."Also, still on the old IP range. Any idea how long it's going to take for all of us to cycle through to the new IP range?
You see, i hate reading stuff like this. First u tell us that u will only ever shape p2p ... Then u added NNTP to the list, and now u talk about thresholds....granted, its just a possibility at this stage, but the pessimist inside of me can just see whats coming next......
I can say however, if this is ever implemented, i'll go elsewhere, thats for sure. I just dont like being restricted on how i use my line that i pay for.
Netflix buffering everyfew minutes on my side.
Yesterday worked perfectly with even 720p on my 4meg line. I dont think it buffered once
Still on 105 ip range. And just restarted my router. No torrents on nntp downloading in the day
It mostly cycles between 480 and 720 woth 720 being in the evenings. You have just answered a question I had: Will a 4meg get 720p on Netflix?
And also addressed a concern I had, would my Netflix still play properly after the change, whatever the change may be.

And it includes 5.1 audio
