Last time I checked pings to the US were in the 250-300 ms region.

Latency is a round trip :/

Also 250 is in the perfect world where you get 150 ms to eu?

I will have a look after work. But yeah Yesterday for a brief period I got around 280ms then it shot up to around 500 - 800.

400-500 isn't THAT bad for US....you can feel it but as long as it isn't spiking it's playable

I've been with CW since the beginning of June, and all good so far. But my download speeds have been pretty bad over the past week - has anybody else been experiencing this? Are there any current issues?

International is slow'ish, but everything else is perfect.

It was like heads or tails for me a while back, fast/slow/mix of both scenario. Haven't downloaded anything lately, will look after work.

In the past 2 weeks international speeds have dropped a bit.

Ping to New York using speedtest.



If you can give me a website that is definitely hosted in the US I can just do an ordinary ping for that. Most of the sites I tried either had local or EU mirrors.

It's why I don't use CW for games (They're awesome for everything else thankfully).

Afrihost gives me much better and more stable ping overseas. If CW fixes this then I'll drop my backup capped account.
