Hi Chevron,

I'm quite certain you won't be disappointed with the experience on Crystal Web, and utilising the Cybersmart backbone for our current offerings doesn't mean we're limited to only offering this sort of package in future. ;)

If there is a demand and business case for rollover data we will consider it. For now we are exploring other ways to please customers in the capped data space...

I vowed never to have anything to do with them ever ever ever ever ever again. With Cybersmart, there will be tears.

I always got dismal speeds on my 1GB Cybersmart capped account I used for testing. Also always assumed they only had IPC in CT as the ping was around 60ms. This was a few months ago, so I don't know, maybe things have changed.

I am now going to cancel before I have even used the account.

I'm not clear on the technical ramifications of all this, but one issue I had when I was with Cybersmart was international game latency was not working very well for me (although in the interests of transparency, they were very helpful and motivated to help me solve the issue, I just ran out of energy at some point during the fairly exhaustive diagnostic process).

Long rambling short - Any idea how you guys do regarding latency to the EU region? As a point of comparison, my Afrihost account is consistently sub 200 ms (often in the 170 region), and this is just fantastic.

Feel free to suggest an IP and I'll happily post a ping test for you and for others to see. So far we've had great feedback about gaming on our network. We are not a Cybersmart product reseller...;)

That's unfortunate. We've had solid performance and great feedback so far. Give it a test and see for yourself...

Sure, as I say, I really don't know the technical implications of the situation.

I'm not stressed, in any event - You guys are clearly here to provide a stellar level of service, and I'm sure if there are any niggles you will sort 'em out.

Looking forward to trying this out.

How can you afford staff when you do not have a company website?

I might have with anyone else other than Cybersmart.
Maybe 6 months from now I might have another look.

We have not launched yet. Taranis wanted more information so started the thread, and to be fair to him we do have quite a few happy mybroadband customers already, so happy to divulge a few things here and there for now. Website will go live when we launch...
