56K Analogue and 64K ISDN. Which would you prefer?

Don't ignore it....
CW replied to me with.. bundled stuff. I like to keep my line with telhellscum.
CW are these line + data packages or just data?
Actually keen to see the capped packages...they're slowly getting to the point where I'm thinking "hmm that might be enough". Converting my current uncapped price to AH means 150gb...
June nnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeddddsssss to fly. That 24/7 support alone will make me move.
Certainly wont particularly where there is an opportunity in the rural marketDon't ignore it....

We aren't locked to any particular backbone network although it is certainly true that like any ISP the scope of work we can do on pricing is limited by upstream providers. Currently the biggest obstacle to pricing flexibility is the IPConnect constraints and pricing from Telkom and this applies regardless of who your backbone network is (I still need to fully establish the situation with respect to SAIX but Telkom Internet are now using IPConnect like any other ISP - with the same pricing concerns) and then the international transit cables. I have been personally involved in ICT policy lobbying for quite some time (particularly with regard to LLU) and Crystal Web has adopted as company policy that we will push for improving broadband in SA - so what we can do to get pricing better for the consumer (whether our client or not) we certainly will. We also are not a business that is built on being cheap - we certainly will be damned if we price ourselves out of the market but quality is of vital importance to us. The costs involved in providing quality customer service - especially on trajectories that are aimed around developing (or growing, although people aren't plants) skilled technical support and sales staff (who whilst maintaining high levels of professionalism are not automatons) for an expanding business - is always going to feature as a major factor in the pricing that we are able to deliver, and will probably cause DJ to loose all his hair within the half decade [my hair has a life of her own]. Of great importance though is that there is competition between the backbones (and the term is being used loosely here) and this needs to translate into a vibrant industry. Each backbone and each of the many networking teams that operate in the industry has strengths and weaknesses and a massive amount of value can be unlocked by businesses actively seeking value in this complex market. We hope to be one such business.Running on cybersmart backbone won't this be very limited on what you can do for pricing? Sounds to me that this will be a lot like the old wazzup isp.
Yes, I remember Wazzup. They were squeezed like lemons, there was no margin for proper support. Their unshaped was in fact shaped as well.
In the end they stopped providing uncapped because Cybersmart was not cooperating with them.
Who knows, perhaps things have changed.
DJ/Paul any chance of getting a test account ?
