Shaped accounts are better for gaming though......so no i disagree.(unless they manage to prioritize gaming first then unshape the rest...)
throttled is bad though....

also i said no to capped because while people want ridiculous numbers like R1 a gb , that would actually make CW lose money.
it's too hard to corner the capped market atm, so instead of trying to win with price, try making it afterhours uncapped or something as only telkom has that right now
though if they can get around R1.5 a gb that ould be nice :P
 
I'm all for paying more for a capped product as long as it performs.
That is essentially my view point on all of the CW accounts.
Give me performance and I will pay.
That is why I am choosing CW currently because as it stands I can already get Afrihost capped products waay cheaper but choose to stick with CW.
 
Like Afrihost was last year with their home uncapped accounts, I would be happy with that. Games worked, streaming worked, downloads worked, no hassle.

EDIT:

I did say on the survey streaming 5 stars, gaming 4 stars, browsing 4 stars, download 3 stars and that I would pay R400 a month for 4mbps uncapped.

I was talking about capped accounts being shaped and throttled. That is just lame.

Funnily enough I said exactly the same thing, they did ask what I was willing to pay after all...

Cheapest I could find so far was 2700QR, that works out to ±8200 ZAR. Importitall qouted me at 12000 ZAR whereas orange shop has not yet returned my query. I see however on ebay its going for about 650 usd.... but those import taxes when it hits RSA :sick:

Nope 666GB was intended as a bespike only special product on custom order and the CPA won't allow for it - an eternal contract term is not possible
was thinking of a capped shaped and throttled product called The Beast at 666GB but realized that it would have to be on custom order - you can specify the size of the spike and temperature of furnace in the order
