can you elaborate a little for my education? is the cost due to application customisation? is it hardware limitations?

I'm not really proposing usage based - more weighted usage based... i could do it in excel to show you if you wanted?

Now from a new customer point of view I would assume to use my own paid for news server access/usage if i wanted anything beyond 30-60days or at full line speeds, unless you make a big red fat circle or type it in huge bold comic sans to check out all the add-on options..

Why should you have to get the add-on if it is free, just include it with the account from the get-go and list it under the specs of the account.

Dumbing it down further than that would involve me having to go buy an ipad and post it from there

It's marketing..? Who cares (except for you) if it's listed as a free "add on"..?

Its a bit of both, there are both software licensing costs and a heavier load on the hardware

We really do welcome feedback on models that can be applied

Software and hardware - more than that I can't expand on unfortunately.
 
Http downloads still sitting on 10 kb/s since this morning on 4 mb line. Switched now to a free account and running full speed. Any problems on http? Am i being capped, throttled or strangled? Anyone?

Hard drive crashed

lol. These days Games are the only thing left, looking at the series and movies.
 
Mtn Throttled Uncapped, looks like it's me and you today. But Telkom did admit that it is on their side that the problem lies (did someone there read the CW thread maybe?) which is a mearicle lol.

EDIT:

And they fixed it within 5 minutes. (Looks outside to make sure he is still in SA)
