I see my "cap" limit has also dropped by 100GB?
I will not make my monthly usage on the new total? What will happen when I reach that limit?
I'm referring to September usage.

No, there is no cap. If you were sent a mail about a cap then please let me know. AFAIK no system is sending mails about caps whatsoever.

You do however get an allocation of unshaped data that once used your account is shaped as per the emails sent out, so you may be seeing that info?

I'm looking at my usage stats. It now indicates 100GB less that what was shown during August.

My emails did not indicate any totals. Only log in and news server details.

Edit: Referring to the Data allowance column.

Can you PM me where you're getting your usage stats as I suspect you're checking an old site specifically setup for the old accounts that has not and will not be updated.

Additionally, all emails have stated explicitly what the Fusion accounts are, the unshaped allocation, how the shaping (if any) is applied, and all other necessary details.

If you're not receiving these please let me know.

Unless you are on a 20Mbps product in which case the system is busy updating all of the provisioning. What I will state is that we do the provisions this time of night on the last day of the month, and ths may result in some odd data if you're watching things like a hawk as it's a process that the system follows. If by tomorrow, when the accounts are meant to be used, this is wrong, we will fix it - shouldn't be though.

That system was just a testing bed for us. It's not setup for the new Fusion accounts properly and is not intended for those accounts either.

This last month we ran uncapped unshaped to a certain limit for most customers. About 5% of customers were then shifted to shaped for the remainder of the month. The allocation you now get is as per the emails and new products we've released. By default, our standard uncapped accounts now give you 100 gigs of unshaped data (200 gigs for 20 and 40Mbps customers) and only then do we apply any shaping at all. We have never stated that we were continuing the unshaped uncapped for customers at all at current prices. Hence why we released a new uncapped unshaped product entirely.

Also note that we made some changes to the usage emails tonight so you shouldn't get usage stats from old accounts any longer. :)

At least you guys could monitor the stats on your end to confirm that we don't share accounts. :D

Lol. Yeah, I can confirm that I used every GB by myself. Speedtests and checking bandwidth are something I check religiously.

Yes.

We're setting that up still. If at first it's not 100% we'll send them from our old system which will show a cap (which will be wrong). The cap is effectively just the unshaped portion. But we can't change that system as it's used for our capped accounts that are coming soon, so we have to create a new system that works 100% with the new Fusion accounts.

We're also looking at doing some very cool things with the usage stats as well to make them more informative for you nerds out there. :D

Out of curiosity CW, are the new unshaped accounts any different from the ones we tested this month?
As I've been given the exact same account details for this coming month as i had for the unshaped account of this month.

Nope, we've been able to provision new accounts (99% of them) without having to change usernames and passwords with customers. Finally!

Just stopping in to report - at 9PM I got disconnected (using the secondary "shaped" account), so I checked email (using a free gig) and saw that my old account was given out as my new one again.
So I tried connecting to it, but it's capped =/

On free gig, till I go to sleep. I am guessing that once 1am / 2am hits, I'll be on uncapped unshaped goodness :)

We've had a few reports of this and apologies. What happened was that accounts were provisioned in the wrong order, and some accounts on to the wrong realm alias, so we're busy fixing that manually at the moment. Apologies about this, but it will be resolved in the next few hours.

Woke up and tried my shiney new CW account on my router and couldn't connect.
Hopped on live chat, issued with a temp account till my problem is resolved.
All this done at 4.30am on a Monday morning.
Gotta love the 24hr support :D

Got a funky virus last night, had to do a factory reset thing. My Defiance is poof. 5 hours remaining on download. :( But a HUGE bonus, Window 8 and not 8.1 :D

BTW this Virus made my whole PC hakkelrig (don't know the English word) with video playback online and so, anyone know what virus causes that? Also things like system restore did not work anymore.

just make sure you keep that sick computer of yours in bed until she is better - if her being sick causes her to noticeably misbehave I am going to get very very cross.

Haha I did a full factory restore, took 5 hours to format and reinstall Windows 8.
