*Network Notice*

Work being done on the Eastern Cape link tonight - may cause some intermittent issues. Will hopefully resolve some speed issues.

Youtube streams 720P flawlessly, omfg its amazing.

Any Eastern Cape customers able to perform some live tests with us at the moment?

Are you still having serious performance issues?

It is intermittent.

Last night we didnt stream, but watched Youtube and that was great.

Night before streaming was horrendous. Buffering litterally every 10secs

Before that much better.

One consistancy is that all my streaming viewing is done via MASHUP in XBMC except for live sport which is via Wiziwig directly in my browser (Chrome)

Unfortunately if this continues I will be forced to move :/

What, a problem between Telkom and Vodacom?

No idea what the problem is, support is investigating. I really don't feel like moving to LTE or something so hope this is fixable.

Still some packet loss for me.

Those 196 and 41.0 routes are off our network. A handover to the peering network has taken place at that point. We have zero control over their networks.

I see you're talking to an agent though - we can investigate further - but a handover to Vodacom's network has happened at that point. The latencies while on our network seem pretty great.

^^ Going to test this with WA, Axxess and MWEB to rule out networks being fukcy in a bit.
