Work being done on the Eastern Cape link tonight - may cause some intermittent issues. Will hopefully resolve some speed issues.
This post routed to you via a working Mikrotik
Oh and how's this for a laugh
I powercycled the modem. ADSL connection didn't drop...

Any Eastern Cape customers able to perform some live tests with us at the moment?
I can only test via remote desktop if you want
Are you still having serious performance issues?

Unfortunately if this continues I will be forced to move :/
What, a problem between Telkom and Vodacom?
No idea what the problem is, support is investigating. I really don't feel like moving to LTE or something so hope this is fixable.
Those 196 and 41.0 routes are off our network. A handover to the peering network has taken place at that point. We have zero control over their networks.
I see you're talking to an agent though - we can investigate further - but a handover to Vodacom's network has happened at that point. The latencies while on our network seem pretty great.
