If you reboot now it should be sorted from what our team told me - I believe an email was sent out to you a few minutes ago. :)
Email came in seconds after I posted here they told me to power cycle, and try it after 10 minutes

There's one helluva process that the backend systems go through from 9pm tonight. In our second month we made the mistake of trying to activate in a certain manner that caused numerous authentication problems, and so we refined the system to process new applications over a longer duration. Existing account changes and resetting happens in a set time-frame, and then new accounts are provisioned correctly thereafter. It doesn't impact on existing accounts though - it won't disconnect you or cause any hassles at all - new accounts however are provisioned from 2am though.

I am a new account, so I guess my backup account at WA will have to fill the gap. Although I am always happiest when I don't have to use it.

When you say "provisioned from 2am", does that mean at 2am, about 2am, or some unspecified time after 2am?

I also would like to know. I have paid by EFT, I hope you guys received it and everything will be working tomorrow.

There doesn't seem to be any email acknowledgement of payment or a way to view account balance. When I hit the client login on your website, my browser screams at me that the site certificate was issued to some suspicious sounding .in domain. So the question is, is there any way to verify that my account will get activated, or do i just wait and hope for the best?

At 2am all new accounts start the provisioning process - usually takes about 15 minutes to complete them all.

Payment acknowledgement is one we're working on. We hit a critical mass that meant manually reconciling became a nightmare, so we've moved to an automated recon system now which comes with its own little niggles here and there - one of which is the acknowledgement of payment. Once our full backend system is operational (next two weeks) and the customer portal completed (also next two weeks) all of these details will be available to view and these niggles sorted as well. The current customer portal is really just a ticketing system, and is very temporary - SSL cert there is being finalised - comes from a legit source, but it's not the final portal, nor anything remotely what it will look and feel like. It's about as temporary as they get. :o

My account will be going live soon, really hope I will be happy here. Please don't turn out to be like the big Red monster.

As with the person just above me though, if they want 200 unshaped GBs, than the 100GBs included is insuffiecient, then he has to rather go to a capped solution as you don't have a product for his needs.

A user can already increase their unshaped allocation with us on uncapped and we massively discount this as well @ R2 per gig.

So once you're a customer, we extend some pretty awesome benefits. ;)

This is a lot simpler than what some people do at other ISPs, taking out a 2Mb line but with a 4Mb account to bypass shaping and never go above their threshold. Once they hit shaping, they don't feel affected because it closely matches their line speed anyway.

Tailored accounts should have been a thing years ago.

Alright so I've started using CW n all, but haven't paid yet. Very nice of CW to go out on a limb like that... but seriously, how does one pay?

you are still on fusion - your account is just shaped until the end of the month -- so another few hours
there does seem to be something up with Whatssapp - there is a discussion a little earlier. Still waiting for fuller details so for now my explanation holds :)

O and you are still a couple of hundred customers away ... and need to join TK :p

Thanks ;)

Swapped though the initial account as CW mentioned and my Whatsapp etc was working. I have another 18GB to get what I was getting, but after that I'm staying under 100GB until the Whatapp issue is sorted!

I'm 998 customers away - how can I track them and their referrals? ;)

Tried logging into my router this morning but I cannot get access to it :( I always use 192.168.1.1 but it simply refuses. Tried different browsers etc etc but no luck.

It's either damaged or looks like you might have to factory reset it and use the default IP and login maybe.

Reading up it can be a multitude of things none of which I think I caused. That said will start troubleshooting now.

What router is it? Have you tried to ping it?
