There's a lightbulb on the bottom left. Need to choose and vote for each one though.

Have gone through 10-odd ideas so far. Some very interesting ideas and ideas that I'd love to see materialize.

@CW Well Done on the site; really impressed with the strides that you've made over the past month.

Clicked on the light bulb but only see two ideas at a time...

Over time they'll end up with a nice hierarchy of ideas, and it's less tedious than presenting you with pages of ideas at a time.

I'm busy kicking arse internally here over the chat and sales tickets you logged. Apologies. Expect a sincere apology from the agent who dropped the ball with you.

@CW, what constitutes a loyal customer?

Do we have any details on CW's FUP yet?

AFAIK, nothing has been provided to the users.

In a way I kinda feel a little sorry for CW. I have this feeling that ever since this thread was started the pressure for them to get all their systems up and running has been huge.I almost feel a little guilty for making queries....

But you guys are doing the right thing, take your time and get it done right, rather keep the masses waiting for quality than rushing and giving them crap or over promising what you can do just to let them down.

Stick to the model you have of giving customers what they want and sticking to your word and bam......top ISP in 24 months and customers for life.

Very true, I'm also one of the people that may have caused a mild set of frustration.
But If I was in their shoe's I would also be elated that members of the community would put their faith and trust in a business that hasn't even launched yet. The collective energy, knowledge, experience (and transparency!) at CW is also refreshing and I'm excited for their part, but I will also admit that they have a way to go in terms of maturing and learning (only things that can, and will, come with time).

I've had nothing short of a great service since joining CW a little more than a month ago. Interaction with the team here and via email/support system has been great, informative and insightful. The product itself is terrific; I've done a little over 100GB this month (as per CW usage tracker) which was a 45-45 blend between streaming and NNTP (using their news server). The fact that I can use all services at any time of the day is great, even when the shaping policies are applied.

I'm excited to see what else they have in store.

Fair enough, but some ideas were presented to me multiple times....an there are times where I didn't like either idea...so refresh and skip... Not complaining...just observing...

Got it. Very confused on how votes are tallied but ok..

Automatically on our end. Just vote. :D

Remember you have to click pick after selecting your option, as it gives you the option to subscribe to updates about your pick. Or you can select your pick without subscribing to updates - it's your choice.

I would assume that there would be relatively few ideas from even fewer sources being submitted at the moment. The system's value will come with volume.

@CW, what constitutes a loyal customer?

In what context?

AFAIK, nothing has been provided to the users.

We don't have enough data to make a call on an FUP just yet. What I will say is that for at least the next 3 months there will be no FUP applied to any accounts. If we ever introduce an FUP, we will ensure that there are sufficient options for customers to ensure that they're not affected by it punitively.

I'm excited to see what else they have in store.

Your patience will be rewarded, that I can assure you.

On the FUP, we have been trialling an FUP system running concurrently with everyone's accounts (not on your account though) and based on the data the FUP we have in mind (if we ever felt the need to introduce it) would only affect a marginal number of users.

Once we have more data to work with and something more concrete we'll keep you updated on this, but right now that's as transparent and open as I can be about an FUP at this stage.

In summary: for now, no FUP. If we ever introduced it, you'd have sufficient options to not be punished by it. And if it were ever introduced, it would only impact on a very small % of accounts.

Just to add to that:
Any introduction of a FUP would also be with proper notice rather than as a retrospective measure. In product design we naturally toy with FUP terms that can allow us to bring to market the best possible product and if a product with built in FUP requirements to work is introduced these will be stated

I say this in jest: Sounds like the MWEB throttle letter :D
Glad to hear it though :) An uncapped service striving for quality without being too draconian on the quantity (except in extreme cases) sounds right up my street :)

I spoke to one of their reps and it seems that they will not be launching 100% unshaped uncapped products when they officially launch. The business packages shape P2P during the day.

We simply block p2p on business accounts and open it between midnight and 7am.

There's this odd thing that's happened in the market whereby ADSL users seem to think that they require "business" packages to use the internet properly. We don't believe in this, so we set the bar high for Crystal Clear Uncapped packages (intended for home use) and offer an actual, affordable business account - aimed at businesses, not consumers. There's simply no need for a business package to use torrents by and large, and if need be our business packages let these run outside of business hours. That way there's no complex QoS and support issues are limited on these types of accounts on this basis.

As for launch products, they will, well, be released upon launch.

TRUTH

But it shouldn't be this way.

Just my personal opinion, but doing that is draconian. By all means limit speeds (not to less than a quarter line speed though) during office hours IF network is under pressure. But don't block it completely while the sun is up.
