Does traffic between 12am and 6am count towards total?

What is CW's shaping policy?

It does. We only shape p2p and nntp. Currently we're shaping on a pool based on usage, but this will soon revert to our standard shaping policy whereby p2p and nntp are shaped during business hours only and released thereafter.

We're looking at various ways to allow for 12am to 7am to not count towards usage.

So there will be shaping/throttling based on usage?
I thought there would not be?
 
Until that happens, is there a tracker to see where one stands in the pool to manage downloads better so that one does not get shaped?

No throttling, no. Shaping, yes. And only on p2p and nntp. Once the systems are back up and running full throttle we'll move back over to p2p and nntp only shaped during business hours.

Not until our site goes live, unfortunately. We do however send out daily usage emails.
 
Hope you guys are keeping track of all the questions here and will have a FAQ section available on the website, otherwise you are going to have to explain the same things over and over again to every new client.

24 hour support on launch - together with turnaround times

Our current high level support targets no longer than 3 hour delays in initial engagement - and if you don't hear from somebody in that time then please send another email - mentioning the previous one {unless you sent your email at 3am in which case going to 6am on the dot might be a little silly until launch}
 
Yay, got all my details today. Now just waiting for Tuesday...

Support start 24 hours as of Tuesday the 1st.

There's nothing open in our support or sales tickets. It's also very difficult to reconcile with a forum name. :(
 
cannot wait to see some price lists up. Growing more annoyed with my current ISP by the day.

You can email [email protected] for more info and we can get you up and running. Complete product suite will be launched soon, including VDSL pricing, and we will allow our customers to change packages if they wish.

Ah okay. That is what I thought, but it then seemed that I misunderstood.
 
what about http download shaping, will there be any of that?

EDIT: while we staking up the questions will their be enough IPC for the south :P namely cape town and surrounding areas because alot of isp seem to be putting the south way under gauteng :(
