The problem may be with my wifi router. I will do some tests tomorrow.

Edit: It seems that my wifi network is aufgeklappt. Works fine with wired. I'll do more tests tonight.

ok, this is becoming quite an annoyance. NZB downloads hovering between 0 and 90 kilobytes per second. It is now midnight.

Using two servers. The nextgennews server has given login errors in SABNZB.
The sunnyusenet server of which I have the 5MB account and 5 connections (only using 3) seems to be OK but is obviously not getting full speed as it should. Am I correct in assuming that each connection should be worth about 1MB of speed?

And low and behold....as I type this, speeds are starting to pick up. Averaging 100-150 and spiking to 200 ever now and then.

edit. its now 7am. NZB downloads have been hauling ass since just after midnight. Ignore above LOL.

Not so bad... maxed out line during entire Wolfenstein TNO download from steam (±11-12 hrs, 10mbs, 40.7gb).

I expect the same in my CW account when my IS tmp account expires ;)
 
Please note that our support portal will be down as of today while we integrate it into our backend systems. You can still email [email protected] and [email protected] with your queries and we will be able to address any of your issues. The only change is that the login to our support portal will not work.

It seems that my wifi network is aufgeklappt :( Works fine with cable. I'll do more tests tonight.
 
paused the NZB downloads. Trying to watch youtube videos. 480p.....buffers. 360p......buffers. 240p.......going well, then buffers a little, then goes for a while. 2MB line.

Hi ambroseg1,

Please email support with this issue so that we can take a look for you. Our tests on the same account show great YouTube speeds. I know it's a bit later than when you experienced the issue but if it persists then please get in touch so that we can have a look.
 
Sent an email off to support. watching at 144p and it still buffering is not cool.
 
something sure as hell not right. the youtube video is buffering. but according to windows task manager, there is more or less no data being transfered through the wifi. Unpause NZBs and it jumps to 1.8megabit speeds. Pause NZB downloads and back to 0-8kilobit speeds while the youtube video is showing the round circle thing it does when it buffers.
 
refreshed the youtube video and now its playing fine all of sudden with speeds at 1.8Megabit.
 
my connection went wonky for a minute or so a little earlier, think I'll send a complaint to the MD

On the basis of you perhaps losing your religion, I have updated your ticket priority to urgent. An extra R250 and my admiration to any helpdesk agent who is able to decipher your message.

I think my money is safe.
