I for one have been having an amazing time binging Netflix in HD. Downloads from local servers are good too, can't wait for the capacity fix.

Got Telkom to recreate my port. It seems a little better now - managed to get Netflix to stream HD, but it took a good while. Was hoping for it to get there much easier on 10Mb.

Anyway- will suck it and see by the end of the week what happens with the capacity increase CW is planning to bring on board.

Cheers

I'm sure they'll sort it.

CW your Steam traffic is going international for some reason instead of hitting local servers.

I guess its back to another day of finger in my poepol and play SP games like rest of the week. sigh.

I'm not sure what else to tell you, necuno. I really don't. I can only continue to apologise to you on a daily basis when you post about poor speeds on some protocols.

There is an issue with international. The fix is currently being worked on. Speeds will pick up over the coming week.

We've been as open and transparent about this as humanly possible. There is shaping to prevent the link going down until then, and services like NZB which we don't consider to be priority services will have a problem. Large Steam downloads may also trigger the shaper on occasion if it's international or if the local link is using p2p.

You did ask for updates on this, and we have updated you and everyone else in the thread, and we're continuing to do so where and when we can.

I apologise that you're having issues, but please do contact support as well, as for all we know this is related to something else that we can investigate for you.

It was your decision to move to an ISP that is completely untested.

Not dissing CW in any way but setting up an ISP is difficult, there are bound to be teething problems in the beginning.

I'll do. Just gathering information to help. What bothers me is that I'm stuck with just TeamViewer to my Site and that's all I can use the internet for :(

Can you send me some data on our support desk or to my email address so I can investigate?

So my exchange now supports 20 mbps it says on the site. When is the launch for VDSL packages?

...mail was sent. I can attempt to see where the steam traffic goes to.

ADSL2+ also supports 20Mbps now. I have finalised 20Mbps pricing and it will be released in the next week, hopefully. I don't want to create VDSL accounts until the international issue is sorted.

Well that is perfect, I would prefer staying on ADSL2+ then. Will need to move my line over still though.

This is what I see:

Looks like the downstream is coming from 8.27.5.254

Pathping goes of to london... I suppose this means one of two things. Routing is porked or of course the game is "not availbile" on RSA nodes yet.

Sigh. From the support ticket I can see assumptions being made. I suppose I'm now forced to redo all the tests using AH/WA/OW/Vodacom/god knows to show it is CW that is fubar.
