Crystal Web (NEW ISP) ADSL Feedback

Nope I Contacted them via email on the 25th regarding what they have to offer. They replied with what they have to offer and I made a choice on that. Granted my fault for not asking if this product is in beta stage as their email to me had no such indication in it but surely that info should be freely forthcoming from Crystal Web.
They have its buried in here somewhere in these 300 pages :P
also it's not you fault for not asking, it's your fault for not researching an ISP that you've never heard of that has no official website. They don't even have adverts the only way you can find it is by MyBB.

Still 3x the speed I was getting on Afritoast...

I'm left wondering if there's any way I can get the part of my life back that I spent reading the last couple of pages of whining...

This is not an official support channel. If you have issues, contact support.

Option 1: Email [email protected] with your problem.

Option 2: Visit www.crystalweb.co.za. Click on the "Live Chat" link to the left of the screen. Follow the prompts.

Your problem cannot be solved via this thread. It just can't. I don't know how much clearer CW can make this. And I don't know how it can be so difficult for (quite a few) people to understand this.

Please, for the sake of mercy, quit whining. We all got on board with CW knowing that we may have a bumpy ride ahead of us (well, there is that one guy that didn't realise that this was a new ISP. Or a beta product. Or something like that). I have never dealt with a company in any field of business that has been as transparent and accountable as CW has. That has to count for something. But accountable relationships are a two-way street. It also requires that we as clients to do the bare minimum we can to seek resolution when we hit a glitch. And the bare minimum is contacting support.

In closing, I am neither an official nor a self-appointed spokesperson for CW. These views are my own. I was just hoping that joining a group of technically-minded early adopters from the myBB community on this (quite exciting) journey would have resulted in a lot less high-pitched wailing, and a lot more in the way of "can do" attitudes. I've seen a consistent improvement in the service since launch and I have no reason to believe that CW will not deliver on their promise.

Agreed. There is a big difference between constructive feedback and whining. Too many posts bemoaning issues where CW hasn't been given any opportunity to address the problem.

If they are given the opportunity to sort it out and drop the ball, then by all means have at it.

an unofficial one that forced them to go public when they weren't ready to do so yet.
they don't even have control of it to edit the first post.

btw cybersmart is the one working on the network even if they wanted to say..."staph your breaking it :(" they can't so at least wait for CS to finish before complaining(about speeds in gauteng/eastern cape)

Okay a couple of things have come about with the network upgrade process and we will be sending out an email this evening (or early tomorrow morning) with some fairly exciting developments for our early adopter clients

unfortunately in the process the 41 issue will take a little longer to resolve (than the next hour or two)

Anyone else unable to access Google Services.

Ps I am on the 105 range

Just got home and I seem to be on the 41 IP range... meh...
