Yeah so? Douwdouw also didn't comment on the author.

And this is your excuse? If you've got issues with douwdouw's behaviour, keep it to the f#cking thread where the behaviour was actually manifest.

And this is an excuse to start insulting him? Please.

That's rich, considering the nonsense this last post contained.

Be mad if you wish, but you read the bible subjectively , not searching for the truth, then you will not find it….

As i said Paul had a personal encounter with Christ , read Acts 9v1-9 and Gal 1v15-16 and Acts 22v6-11 for confirmation.
Paul did not go and try and spread the gospel immediately by own admission, read Gal 1v17, he retired into Arabia to be taught by the holy spirit. 3 years later he went to Jerusalem for 15 days.

Read Gal 2v1 after what?, an interval of 14 years Paul goes back to Jerusalem and do what? confirm his teachings with the church fathers!

He revealed to them(fathers) the teachings he(Paul) taught and it was accepted. Read Gal 2v2

The letters Paul are therefore writing is not to reveal his teachings or Christ life on earth but to address problems/matters experienced in the early church!

The sceptic is dishonist,he is trying to create doubt and doubt is all you need to loose faith!!!!…. You will be screwing your own conscience if you can’t recognize it !!

You quoted my post that criticised Neo's reasons for sniping at you... How exactly does that actually have anything to do with the discussion going on in the thread itself?

And doubt is all you need to lose faith. The problem is that you need to push reasoning aside to make room for faith.

Sure

Please note I have not read McDowell's book. I may not even agree with his points of view. However be carefull in the approach of Paul's letters. He had a personal encounter with christ, then he went into I think Arabia for is 14yrs where he was taught by the holy spirit before he started evangelising the heathen if my memory serves me correctly... Paul knew , i believe, even more about christ than his dearest disciples...

Sure, but i was referring to the Christ in the man ***** and his movements on the planet... I was pointing out that Paul was not in a position to relate these events as experience - nothing to do with his knowlege or experience of Christ as revealed to him through the Holy Spirit.

Fact Oj Simpson Fact Not Guilty Lie Fact?

And doubt is all you need to lose faith. The problem is that you need to push reasoning aside to make room for faith.

OJ SIMPSON murdered his girlfriend, fact... his blood and his glove found on the scene of the murder fact..., First fitting a surgical glove then trying to fit the glove found on the murder scene, the glove found on the murder scene is now to small not fitting SIMPSON'S hand...

Doubt is created in the mind of the jury, they did not take note of the surgical glove he fitted before trying to fit his own glove...
Verdict?... NOT GUILTY.... Hard facts but doubt created and he goes free!
YOUR ARGUMENT CONCERNING FAITH FALL TO PIECES...

Just because doubt can be misused does not mean that it cannot be properly used. If I tell you that I've been to the moon, will you doubt me? If so, is that a reasonable doubt? If not, well, I've got some real-estate on the moon to sell to you - at a steal, scouts honour! :p

Have you done anything in this world to believe your first absurd statement?
No, you have accomplished nothing, it will be absurd to believe you...

In the case of christ it differs:
No absurd promises...
His accomplishments acceptional!
Yes, plenty of reason to have faith in christ!
