I'm getting like a 1/3 to 1/2 of my normal fps (~300) in csgo, gpu is below 50% utilisation, running cool. Tried a reboot and nada.
Any ideas? Feels like mud

Honestly, I won't know. No recent update to the game and I don't believe any in-game setting can have that impact unless there is something wrong with your CPU utilisation in-game???

Nothing has changed since yesterday when it was fine. cpu utilisation in game is also low. Other games and benchmarks run fine.
Sorted. Somehow all the gfx settings got set to max. No idea how it overwrote my settings as I sure as hell have not been into the menu since I installed csgo.

Cool, I will try my best for 20:00-21:00. Received schitty news earlier this week that I will have a lot more time on my hands available than usual. At least I can finally get around at finishing other stuff

I lolled earlier today when I read that new NiP won Astralis Anyway DIG (old NiP) is playing Cloud9 later today. Flashpoint is going to continue but as an online league.

I see there is renewed rumours that CSGO may be upgraded to the latest Source Engine (Source 2). It may be that Valve is looking at enhancing and enriching the game now with Valorant on the horizon. I guess they will look at improving the physics which will change a lot and at bringing 128 tick to public servers. Behavioral changed may be on the table. For the most part, the game will look the same, but the environments will be upgraded.
