This is my setup,

Audio Interface: Solid State Logic SSL2+
Monitors: Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250
Condenser Microphone: Takstar PC-K850 / Takstar TAK55
USB Microphone: Takstar GX6
Mic Stand: Hybrid SMB02 (boom arm) / Hybrid MS09 (table stand)

In addition to that:

DAC: M-Audio Super Dac
Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 250 (non-Edition) / Philips SHP9500s / and soon Philips Fidelio XHR2

I don't need anything more than that. I don't stream, but I have to do conferencing and business calls most of the day, but I also do B2B podcasting for the promotion of IT services, video and audio which is something I wanted to do a long time ago but the current circumstance reawakened this venture of mine. If it is successful I may consider a gaming series for the consumers.

Those Takstar mics are highly underrated, just like their headphones. It was also incredibly cheap on Takealot and I had to check if it was counterfeit after I received them. It checked out.
I haven't heard of Takstar before, I'll have to check them out sometime.

It is a Chinese company, but they are better known in the commercial sector than in the consumer sector. They produce broadcasting equipment and is an OEM. News agencies, stations, etc. are familiar with their products.

See what these two headphones (/cough, one is a headset), have in common,

Kingston added a mic that is it, and to this day it is the best-priced gaming headset within its price class, outclassing many more expensive headsets. The Hyper Cloud II is a Takstar PRO 80.

Logitech, Corsair and Coolermaster, and there is another gaming brand, also now use Takstar components for their latest series of headsets, but apparently it is heavily tweaked and doesn't look like Takstar.

One of the best monitors on the market is the Takstar PRO 82's, the only issue being that it isn't as readily available.

EDIT:

If you want Takstar PRO 82's with a better soundstage, but with less sharpness. Wootware sells them ;)

sadly, as previously said, they aren't readily available. If you are a gamer which cares about audio, you can't do better than Takstar PRO 80/82's or their headset equivalents. There are many more other Takstar 'copies' out there, and there are a couple of new ones.

For players wanting to go the Philips headphones route. The SHP9600 and X3 are releasing in September in the US. It will come to other markets later. It seems that they will keep the SHP9500 on the market.

The SHP9600 is set to retail at $129 and the X3 at $349. Yes, Philips is going all out premium and I don't see the older generation headphones discounted.

I am keen on the SHP9600... when my SHP9500 goes this is my likely upgrade path, but my SHP9500 other than dusty cups is as new as the day I got them and I don't push them. I am considering to replace my cups on the SHP9500, but the ones I wanted isn't made any more...
