The other day I solo queued I ended up playing against 2 Supremes, those ranks completely unbalanced the MM. We won though :whistle:

I don't care about ranks but I do care about it being a fair and balanced game. I don't think it is fun for a high silver or low nova player to end up against an MGE or DMG or something better. They will likely get slaughtered.
 
I'm keen to play with whoever. Is there a way to all meet on the same server or is it luck of the draw?

Sorry I'm sure these are ubernoob questions but hey...

You all just add each other as friends on Steam then someone creates a lobby and invites everyone.

Pro-tip for comps:
Please for the love of gwd...

Only time you speak in-game is where you spot enemies, where you got shot from and how much you partial'd them. You will make new friends very quickly. I farking hate playing in a pick-up random comp and you have these people talking constantly, tell you where they can hear things when spectating you and the likes... FARK ME!
 
If you guys are doing a couple of rounds of Arms Race to warm up/get Urban to Rank 3 be sure to let me know too.

I have never used a mic on a pc for gaming before. Shall endeavour to do my best. Though, not knowing the maps, it's likely to be like, "Ah ffs not again **** he's by the uh....near the tree by the blue thing....like close to where he killed me last time..."

Even those help ;)
Most people have a general idea of what the maps look like. getting the "Short/Cat/Long/Drop-down" and so on takes time. But if you say, Blue container on Dust , EVERYONE will know where it is :)
 
Rad. I game with my iPhone headphones and mic so will need to figure out the mic. Think its K by default.
 
Take some time to memorise the callouts on Dust and Mirage. Nuke too if you have the time. It really goes a long way in helping your teammates. I have my loading screens replaced with maps with the associated callouts. Can't remember what mod it was but it helps at least a bit especially when the internet is slow and loading times are long

And also don't have your mic on whilst playing with speakers unless you have very good echo cancellation. Nothing worse than talking to your teammates and having your voice echo over and over and over :D

Reminds me, the day that I returned to playing CSGO,
