Do people often just keep games open forever because I just encountered a person with more than double the previous most hours played I've seen.

I regularly keep some games open, especially CSGO. It will hardly contribute more than say 3-5% game time, I have probably spent more time waiting in competitive MM.

Some do. I just close it once I'm done. It uses CPU cycles and RAM that I have a better use for.

I couldn't let it go, I checked on one of the stats sites that give actual play time, in Steam he has 5,314 hours on record and the site says of that time played is 1121 hours so he had the game just open or minimised for 4193 hours.

In Dota 2 he has 11,974 hours on record.

:wtf:

Now that I have commented in this thread. What is it with the baiting nowadays? LOL! The other day in a casual game someone was calling me out on my real name.

I must say that I do appreciate to play with you guys.

Some hackers and scammers do this to accounts to make them seem more legitimate.

You're much less likely to question why a dude headshots you instantly around every corner when he has 8000 hours in game than if he has 10 hours.

I've been having a bad spell. Putting CS:GO to rest a bit for a week or two. I'm just going to drive myself up the walls...

I'm going to purchase a good optical gaming mouse somewhere this or next week, looking at the Steelseries Rival 100 or 300. I have been over compensating with my laser mouse too much, even in practice runs my hand/elbow to mouse movements are inconsistent which had never been the case previously. Oh well, nothing like getting beaten up by a 12-year-olds.
