you can give them away by trading, just the other person wont give you anything (if you want to give it away) and yes they will have to buy the key for the case

no you cant buy skins off that site, only open cases that have skins.... there are sites though (not offhand) that you can look for skins and buy them individually

I have skins but almost all of them are drops or gifts from friends who didn't want them anymore. I think I bought some that I thought looked cool for a few rands (I mean literally single digit rands) but I'd never spend any significant money on skins.

mine is green, brighter than the default with a black outline.... at 1st its very obtrusive but as i used it, i became comfy with it and actually prefer it now because i can see it on every map with no issues

Whenever a new case is released and you get one you really should check the market, if you get one early on the day of release you can easily sell it for over R150 and every day after that it quickly drops, by day three it's usually R30-R50 which is still pretty decent.

The Chroma 3 case is currently selling for .11c but when they were just made available I sold one for R70 and another for R25.

If you sell all your case and skin drops from January until December throughout the year I'm 100% sure you can have at the very least R200-R300 and if you get good drops R500.

I didn't actually realise you could make an outline. Interesting.

thanks for the info - I wasn't aware these things had some temporal rarity value. Will think about selling them but looks like too much admin tbh :p, I'm lazy like that.

Someone posted a link to a custom map earlier in this thread that lets you go in and mess around with various crosshair settings - it writes to your config file when you leave. Used that to make the crosshair very green :)
 
Maybe if you hadn't been running around with a knife the whole game, the score might be different.

I've learnt my lesson. I get two kills with the AWP per match, no more.

But I guess rather that than people getting agro at me for using the noob cannons :D
