Issue is, I have a few accounts that is unranked. I'm not playing with them intentionally, I just want to see how high they will rank when they rank.
 
Played a game yesterday on Dust II. A mate and I were awping mid as the CTs crossed. They smoked the cross and we fired through the smoke at the door further away from CT spawn. We both happened to hit the same guy and killed him. It only happened the one round but with good timing we were able to tag them most rounds as they crossed even with the smoke. He called us hacking scum with small penises :D

Their team spent the rest of the game telling us to fsck off and die, demanding that we stop hacking and that we had been reported. They went fully toxic. We laughed so hard.
 
^, smoke is too slow...they should be using grenades. Also smokes are ****ing precious...much more useful than grennies.
 
Smurfing, squickers, deranking, not sure I've heard these terms before, it just shows how long I've been out of serious gaming :o

Yes, my first time playing CSGO. Last played the old CS many years ago, never played Source even.

Smoke isn't too slow. Depending on your spawn you can throw smoke as you start moving so it pops as you cross. You don't even have to stop running. Chuck it against the box closest to the mid doors in CT spawn as you start running at round start. It will bounce off that box and out into the cross.

If you have to slow for your smoke you're throwing it wrong or you were unlucky with your spawn in which case you shouldn't be the one throwing it.

Those Dust II pub servers. Everyone spamming through the wall by car on B site for the first entire minute of the round :D

Back when maps like Aztec, Assault, Italy and Militia were played all the time. Not to mention all those Assault variants like Assault2k. Ah good times.

Oh man remember cs_mansion? That was an awesome map.
 
I'd be very impressed if the mechanics are also old-school (and this isn't just a skins, textures, sounds thing). Up to 1.3, CS was a very different game.

I will settle for just less bull ****ty anti eco rounds. Remember the days when rifles consistently won over pistols, I do. Can we go back to those days please?
 
If guys want I can always host a CS 1.5 server with all those old maps. You wouldn't even need a cdkey or anything, it just works. Or any earlier of the CS betas, retail version 1.0 - 1.5. I have them all, just say the word and I'll make it happen :D

do you remember the chaotic map called poolday?
 
This is before my time. I use to be a console gamer, so my first real pc FPS was Battlefield 4. I still love Battlefield 4 to this day.

damn.... u missed on an awesome era! i still to this day feel CS 1.5 and 1.6 were the best cs games
