CSGO Sticky thread

Audio hacks...Prod "unhears the enemy" and then does amazing snap headshots with a Bizon....it's very impressive.

Good games tonight. That one game on Dust2 is pretty much the toughest the opposition will be. Played against good players.

Ja, that was tense...strange for Dust 2. Games can get pretty loose on that map...I think it was 10-1 or so at one point before we switched over to CT.

I am talking about the match prior to that one. I know that at least 3 players on the opposition team are indeed in another league. They played on alt. accounts, though still highly ranked.

At least I had my skills back last night, showed glimpses that I still can.

Lol at Mirage, that one guy I muted I could still hear over your speakers :D See how much better I play without a dick in the squad.

I still want to know why Logitech bought Astro… Look, Logitech headsets are terrible, and those owning them can rub it which way they like, but ASTRO! Yoh, it is nowhere worth its price in the market. I wonder whether Logitech will brand it G and position it accordingly though… Also, Astro is poorly built in my opinion.

The only gaming peripheral company on a winning recipe is Kingston.

I am really disappointed that I did not wait for Cloud2 to get in stock before I bought ASUS Strix 7.1. It's a new headset, the DSP thingy is a bit meh, but sound quality is good. Headset is bulky, and looks weird, but fits well... If I can trade them for a set of CloudII's I would in an instant though...

Did you order the Philips?

I wanted to, but then the mic was exclusive to Prime members only, and I have cancelled my sub some time ago. Now I'm going to order the mice, headset and mic on payday this month. Do it all in one go. Currently I’m playing with my Cougar so I’m in no rush.

Yah, ASUS… those ROG headsets are in the wrong ‘republic’. Second to Kingston I will go Steelseries. Razor headsets are overhyped, they have a good keyboard and two good mice, that is it. Corsair has good keyboards and one good MOBA mouse. No headsets… I also considered a gaming headset, but price vs value is not economical to me. The headphones, the Philips SHP9500 / S, recommended by Soul and a compatible mic is the best option going by value.

My only issue with Kingston is that as soon as they gained traction with their headsets it rocketed in price. Pricing strategy, not quite there, but still superior to the other headset options.

Sign up for a new prime trial account which lasts 30 days I think.

I already took that budget and pushed it into EOS and Antshares (NEO). I stick strictly to budgets. At month end I do need to purchase headphones, these in-ears are slowly killing me.

Sorry a little off topic - just wondering if there is still a large player base for CS:GO in SA? I see there are a few public servers listed on gameservers but there doesn't seem to be many players? Does it only usually fill on the evenings/weekends?
