CSGO Sticky thread

I really don't like these Valve servers, had a demolition, 3 maps, all had 5-20%+ choke... and it only seems to be my experience, everyone is like huh?

Mostly get huge choke and packet loss on ADSL. Perfectly fine on LTE however.

Since Valve took the server management under their own control it has gone to the dogs. Mweb and IS did much work at hosting the servers than whoever Valve has appointed to host the machines (or VMs). They can at least allocate servers in Cape Town and arrange a better peering agreement with the ISPs to optimise these hosting locations in SA between ISPs. The current experience I and others have experienced is horrendous, loss, choke… nah man. No server has the same consistency as the other, this questions the service.

Anyway, I doubt Valve is looking at my reports that I have made.

^, if those guys pings were lower, I don't think we would have got 14 rounds :erm:

Our team wasn't working very well.

I would have been able to kill them with lower pings... those two guys, especially the one was like a vibrator on my side.

Seems like I'm missing out a lot of gold in MM at the moment. Will be AFK for a while however.

I noticed traffic being routed over local seacom infrastructure ending up at teraco which adds latency.
