CSGO Sticky thread

you are older, only thing you've shown me so far is how to bottom frag, and to force buy round after round :p

Do you know that rinse and repeat recipe? Save, buy, save, save, buy, repeat. Well, again, when you don’t play with strats you basically going into repeat mode. I tend to ½ buy in a team, on my round, pending on my position, side and location.

When you look at every game that I play you will see that I am big on utility. Yes, I analyse games now and then. Strangely enough, I and @Neoprod have a rather odd, but consistently high HLTV Rating 2.0.

Frags, that won’t win your 'team' any games ;)

PS: I don't play well when annoyed. I do, however, play well when I am pissed and when the competition is at a higher level.

My HLTV 2.0 rating is 1.14, yours is 1.11, and prods is 1.0, but then again its pointless having a higher rating if we don't know about all the games played, or the ranks played against. I can drop an easy 3.0 against MG's but that doesn't mean anything when I can't get kills when I play in higher ranks.

And you are right, the game isn't all about frags, sometimes the info is what makes the team win. One thing I need to admit however is, I need to pick up map sense as I can only play a few maps, I can't play Mirage, Train, Nuke or Cobble at all, those are my worst maps.

Talking of, I have always kept a keen eye on NIP. NIP is a legendary CS organisation, but then they, well, faded. They have some of the best individual players in the professional scene, and that is the problem they are playing like individuals. I would like to know what going on there, they definitely have some form of communication issue.

Get_RiGhT should have moved on a long time ago, could have played with FaZe Clan by now. Friberg is playing with Heroic, which is a Danish team, and they are slowly progressing towards the top tier.

This is the issue I am having with my mouse, described exactly,

G403 Left Click Interrupted
Hello Logitech Support
I've recently encountered an issue with the G403 that I have seen MANY people report, but has never been fixed. The gist of it is: In a shooter game, whenever this mouse hovers over enemies and you hold left click to spray your gun, it suddenly stops shooting. Tapping left click is no problem, but once you get a weapon that requires you to hold left click, the left click gets interrupted for some reason. Now I know it seems like this would all point to a faulty left click, but I want to remind you this is ONLY WHEN AIMING AT ENEMIES. Whenever I hold left click to shoot a weapon anywhere that doesn't have enemies on my crosshair/reticle, it shoots perfectly fine. No problem whatsoever. This gives me reason to believe that this is NOT a hardware issue.
Some "fixes" I have tried:
- switching the left and right mouse buttons: this fixes the problem and confirms it is just the left click that causes this issue, but I cannot play like this.
- switching USB ports: doesn't do anything.
- trying the mouse on a different PC: same issue
- updating the logitech and mouse software: didn't do anything
- uninstalling the mouse and logitech software and reinstalling: didn't do anything
- mess with my in-game settings: didn't do anything
- disabling the trackpad
- cleaning the mouse with compressed air
- more stuff.
Games where this occured: PUBG, Fortnite, CSGO, Overwatch[/QUOTE]

but only happens in CSGO and Apex: Legends which happens to be both Source based. I have tested this to death. RJN believes it is the switches,

but I have tested it everywhere, even in click tests, and it only happens in CSGO and Overwatch when aiming at enemies. Strangely, nades auto throw without aiming at enemies. Normally changing the USB resolves the issue, but it comes back. This is really strange... My other mice are all cool, only my G403. I can do aim maps without any issue...

Also having an issue with my G403 but not this exact one...it gets a bit stuttery randomly when tracking so I end up under-shooting my target. Or running into walls :p

It's intermittent and I've only encountered it in CSGO. Weird.

Submitted an RMA request with Logitech now, will see how they respond. The issue seems to be widespread. You should see the people complaining in their forums and in the Overwatch forums.

It has just got to a point where it is unbearable. Strangely though, I have a feeling that the issue started with their last firmware update for the G403 back in March 2018. It sucks being unable to spray, all I can do is tap it like The Flash.

I have been pulling my hair in Apex, the issue is very noticeable in that game.

Happily, the G403 comes with 2 years of warranty. Who knows, maybe they will say **** this and give me a brand new Logitech G Pro Wireless :giggle:

Actually I have the same issue, I have a whack ton of mouse stutter and it makes hitting shots impossible. One thing I've noticed however is that it's on and off, at times I even get mouse lag, which is just as annoying if not more annoying.

New mouse or new computer. Or you could try washing your mouse pad? Never had an issue with tracking before, there were times when it would be shaky but I'd just do the calibration again and problem solved.

Come to think of it, when I first tried out my G403 I also experienced a tracking issue, like if the sensor was glitching. Did a quick surface tune in the software, and voila!

I just checked and I see my old surface is still saved under my profile.

Try it @Neoprod
