CSGO Sticky thread

I am currently leaning strongly towards the Zowie S2. It is smaller than my Logitech G403, but only weigh 86g (w/cable). If I were to buy an ultralight mouse I will wait on the reviews of the Xtrfy Project 4 before making my decision but it is only due for somewhere or after September. The only downside of the Xtrfy will be the support.

Comparing the S to the Logitech in size, length and width,

S1: 126mm x 66/61/62mm
S2: 122mm x 64/59/60mm
G403: 124mm x 68mm

The S1/S2 is 4mm/5mm lower than the G403.

Did all the hand measurements and it seems that I will be comfortable with the S2. If I order the Zowie S2 today it will be 1-3 months waiting for stock with an ETA of September 11th up to October the 30th.

I am just afraid that the ultra-lightweight mice are overhyped. If I have to take the pro scene into regard, only two players are using a Glorius Model O and only three players are using the Finalmouse (2 Air58 / 1 Classic). I do, however, believe that the mice may be a bit too large for the pro scene and I think that the Glorius Model O- may do better amongst the players for preference. The Zowie S is also still rather new, and many are still using the EC2.

According to Pro Settings the top 5 mice for competitive players are the 1) Zowie EC2-A, 2) Logitech G Pro (Wireless), 3) Zowie EC2-B, 4) Zowie EC1-A and 5) Zowie FK2 from which only one, the EC1-A, is for medium to large hands.

I think he mentioned climate wrt peoples preference, glossy mice from personal experience are like a slippery bar of soap in hot humid weather.

The reason why I will avoid the Zowie Divina mice which are glossy, but the kids seem to like their mice sticky.

I wouldn't base anything off of what the pro players use, 90% of them will be who ever the sponsor is.

Zowie mice are obviously amazing but they are also a big sponsor across esports.

I want to change my gaming setup. My G910 is too big, but I will use my G403 until the switch dies again. Changing mouse won’t change anything, the G403 is already a stupidly good gaming mouse.

Currently looking at the Ducky gaming models, and the Logitech PRO should I stick to the Romer-G, Omron, switches which I probably will. Just to use to these switches now.

I have already decided to get a USB driver headset. The Takstar Pro 82's looks to be it.

Then when my mouse dies, I want something new, and that decision will probably be by mid next year. I wouldn't mind picking up a mouse now and then store it until then. I really wouldn't mind the Glorious Model O, but I don't want to be disappointed by it.

The logical upgrade path would be the G403 HERO or G703, but Logitech is absurd with their premium pricing.

I always wanted a Zowie, but the ones I wanted were always sold out at the time I wanted to make my purchase. Now I have an opportunity to preorder a second production run S1/2 in matte.

Razer, in my opinion, has always been overhyped on the gaming scene, but they do have nice products, but Logitech is the better choice here come to customer service. I am mentioning them due to them deciding on changing or adding to their mice line, been some time…

and according to RJN,

I'm under NDA but something is coming and it's pretty exciting. They said I could put out a teaser so at least let you guys know it's on the way. New competitive mouse hype!!! Razer has been listening! For gamers, by gamers. I'm trying to give you clues without breaking NDA. :D

And commented,

It's a good time for gaming mice. <3

I guess honeycomb design :whistling: and knowing Razer it will be 'expensive' as with all their new products, probably the same as BenQ Zowie at the $70 mark.

All I want is an accessible top 5, RJN community rated, gaming mouse comes to customer service. Maybe I must preorder the Model O and get done with it... maybe the disappointment won't be the mouse, but the supplier.

BTW, how is your monitor doing, the other item on my shopping list?

The monitor is amazing, if I run tests I can obviously see ghosting, very little at that, because it's still a VA panel but if I didn't know these tests existed I would never have seen it because from the reviews I read and watched it's one of the lowest ghosting VA panels you can buy.

Gsync compatibility works just as expected and the screen just looks good, design wise and colours. I made the right choice not getting a TN panel.

If you want the glorious one i can get one when I order one and ship it to you? Think it's like 100 bucks.

When did this become the "lets all **** over mouses" thread? FFS man, the mouse isn't going to get you to GE.

As I said, the mouse isn't going to make you GE. Being good might though.

Heads up...check the value of your SG553 skins. I had a Cyrex that I bought in December for 90 bucks...sold it today for 417.

Might be the same for other skins with the gun becoming popular.
