I am currently leaning strongly towards the Zowie S2. It is smaller than my Logitech G403, but only weigh 86g (w/cable). If I were to buy an ultralight mouse I will wait on the reviews of the Xtrfy Project 4 before making my decision but it is only due for somewhere or after September. The only downside of the Xtrfy will be the support.
Comparing the S to the Logitech in size, length and width,
S1: 126mm x 66/61/62mm
S2: 122mm x 64/59/60mm
G403: 124mm x 68mm
The S1/S2 is 4mm/5mm lower than the G403.
Did all the hand measurements and it seems that I will be comfortable with the S2. If I order the Zowie S2 today it will be 1-3 months waiting for stock with an ETA of September 11th up to October the 30th.
I am just afraid that the ultra-lightweight mice are overhyped. If I have to take the pro scene into regard, only two players are using a Glorius Model O and only three players are using the Finalmouse (2 Air58 / 1 Classic). I do, however, believe that the mice may be a bit too large for the pro scene and I think that the Glorius Model O- may do better amongst the players for preference. The Zowie S is also still rather new, and many are still using the EC2.
According to Pro Settings the top 5 mice for competitive players are the 1) Zowie EC2-A, 2) Logitech G Pro (Wireless), 3) Zowie EC2-B, 4) Zowie EC1-A and 5) Zowie FK2 from which only one, the EC1-A, is for medium to large hands.
