But for example, you get people playing on inadequate mouse pads, but they will argue that a pad is a pad. The mouse needs to be able to glide, the degree of gliding is of personal preference. At the end of the day, it all comes down to accuracy, all of these tools are assistants thereof, just as much a 100+ hertz monitor and a 'bungie/wireless' cable will improve your consistency. This is not even speaking of the weight of the mouse, just as much as minimising any latency (incl. that of your internet connectivity).
You can suck less if you have the right tools, fitting for you, or if you train a little bit harder. Scraping off a few milliseconds in a game like CSGO, Quake, Apex Legends, etc. may be the difference between winning or losing.
