CSGO Sticky thread

Lol not only that I flashed over 20 enemies......crazy......I was the designated decoy........

See, you did your part. I am happy to see the old crew get their game back, lol. My game sense hasn't tingled this much in a long time. Slaving away at looter shooters wiping enemies and NPCs doesn't help.

Did have fun playing with you guys, it wasn't the usual shouting match you get with randoms, and the team were respectful, regardless if someone screwed up. So yeah there is that, will gladly play with you guys again, just need to get a new mouse.

There is a bug that I have now twice experienced. Your sound randomly disappears, and then when you get killed your game crashes. I haven't survived a round where it happened, so I don't know what happens then, but I guess that it will still crash.

Tried the game a bit on casual. Mouse movement is a bit different but I set it somewhat quicker and it seems better now.

Feels like I sometimes hit but then do no damage and other times feel I didn't deserve a kill.

To me, from a perspective of fluidity, it feels very similar to the previous 64 tick system, with the only difference being that the server now serves as the ultimate authority for sub-tick events. I haven’t played all too much on 128 tick servers, so I can’t draw any comparative conclusions. The mouse sensitivity is still too high for me, even after adjusting it to a lower level it just feels accelerated. My sensitivity is extremely low. What is different is the bobbing they have now hard-coded, and I think this is what gives many a different feel from the old game. As far as I understand, the mouse is now always set to RAW input, but I haven't seen this to be a proved case.

I only hope that Valve is taking this seriously. Players with a ping of 0-1ms have a clear advantage over all other players in terms of timing and placement. Yesterday, when I played a match on Inferno, I often got attacked by enemies on the B-site from the CT coverage area before I even realised they entered the site. It feels like being fired before even seeing the enemy because the server is ahead of your client. If a death is recorded before you can react, you experience what many are complaining about: delay and peekers advantage.

If it favours your enemy at times, it will favour you at times too. Just note what is experienced on your screen, or that what you observe, is not the same as determined by the server. I am confused by Valve's belief that their tick-rate-independent gameplay system is not only revolutionary, but also superior to 128 tick.

Then I have unexplainable loss too which I don't experience in any other game but on Valve's official matchmaking servers. One instance differs from the other. Again, if I am having this issue, then others must too.

I am starting to think that Valve disabled CSTV and demos so that people don't compare it to streams for scrutiny :whistling:

If you have your console enabled, you can see prompts where ticks are adjusted for the client in real-time.

As said, everyone is exposed to these issues. Fixing issues will enhance the experience, but it won't automatically make someone a better player. However, it will improve player consistency, which is currently lacking.

It makes one wonder if the CS2 devs even play the game themselves, online.

It was the Aimware cheat which was detected, but it wasn't taken down. It is only that their devs didn't say anything in public spaces. I see their cheat has been restored to undetected status, last night around this time. Now, once again, all premium cheats have an undetected status. Cheapskate cheaters don't use Aimware anyway; there are more accessible cheats.

The game ban wave, not VAC wave, is still hardly a wave. I think it topped out at 1200 accounts, and multiple accounts are owned by the same user. I think one Aimware user had +550 accounts game banned. Aimware peeps will be back in no time. I don't think the accounts with the massive inventories which got banned are related to this detection.

I can't see St4ck have a perma ban. Though he is possibly too rich to not care, he has a very rare collection. Why his accounts got banned, only he and Valve will know, but it could be due to malicious reports. I am sure his accounts will be restored in no time, as well as the associated accounts.

St4ck is well known amongst the traders.

It is also very odd how some popular gaming outlets associate St4ck with this cheating ban. LOL, they don't know anything.

@Neoprod @Cav5034 @WELIHF

You all are going to play a bit tonight? I might, but is not going to solo. In the case I have a bad loss again I will only play one match and no more. Last night was terrible with loss, it kills it.
