CSV in excel

File > Open > the there should be a dropdown "Files of type" > select "Text files .txt .prn .csv"

Before the file opens, you will be able to select the delimiter and other options.

Let us know if you get stuck.

You need to select what it is that is being used to delimit the fields. It's usually a comma ("COMMA Seperated Values") but it can also be a tab, pipe ( | ) semicolon etc

the data preview box below the selection options will give you a preview of what the data contained in the file will look like with that delimiter selected.

Dude -- you're making me think very hard very late at night :) Hope I make sense.

LOL

Its a Telkom bill, about 400 numbers dailed, doesnt seem to come out right.

Only the 1st few nr thats right, then there is a mixup again

If it's nothing confidential (and you can trust me to delete it straight afterwards, anyway) feel free to email it to steve @ texo.co.za and I'll quickly save it for you as a xls file.

Understand completely if you'd rather not...
