It's quite well hidden, but I found it:Whats the normal price for if you use data on your CellC sim without a data bundle? 50c a MB?
99c For Real benefits
- Most affordable flat rate to any network, any place, any time
- 99c per minute call rate
- Per second billing from the first second – less than 2c per second
- Use data at 99c per MB – out of bundle
- 50c per MMS sent

Thanks for that. Yeah, noticed last night when I ran out it was pretty expensive. Snapped that prepaid sim card. Have no use for it at that pricing and with these levels of service. Still have my CellC postpaid account, but meh. Their data is just not worth it.
Why not buy simply buy any size data bundle? In-bundle rates are R0.15 per MB and the out-of bundle after the bundle is depleted remains at R0.15 per MB until the bundle expiry date.

It is not ideal, but I think it is easier to remeber bundle expiry date than keep all the time eye on the remaining bytes in bundle. It is a bit of a lus having to add a bundle just to get the out of bundle rate. Doesn't really make sense. Out of bundle should be out of bundle, all @15c/meg.
Be careful:Gonna put that 15c OOB to the test
Sorry to bring up an old thread but just a quick question. Can you buy a data bundle on the normal "straight contract" or must it be on the "straight top-up contract". A friend is interested in the S3 Straight 100 deal for R329 per month but the data cause concern.
