They mention Gold Uncapped and Gold PLUS Uncapped, what is the difference, I don't see this as being an unshaped account.
 
GOLD PLUS is the proper 1meg GOLD account. The normal GOLD 1meg was released to compete with MWEB's 1meg account.

Take the GOLD PLUS.
 
Can't take anything yet - telkom is only due on the 3 April- unless you reckon the saving is enough to make it worth paying for a month of non use

You'll make back the saving in 6months, if you have it for a month with no usage.

So worth it. I got my line installed in 14 days though, so if I were you I'd call every second day and ask for an update. Eventually they'll mark it as "urgent" or whatever and it should get done faster.

Waited 6 weeks, then got hold of a contact.... two days later (a Sunday) someone came to install my line.
 
You're lucky I have phoned n complained 3 times and put a complaint on hellopeter - no dice yet
 
Got a mail from Openweb saying that Gold has a 25% lower contention ratio and Gold Plus has a 35% lower contention ratio than their standard uncapped.
 
Just signed up yesterday for the Gold, I can live with 25% which is how they initially marketed it. So, I'm not sure what Qwikslver means by Gold Plus is the "proper" gold account.
 
Signed up for 1mb Gold Plus special - now for telkom to come to the table - very excited ^_^
