had an issue with the Rampage mobo and returned it ingram micro with the 2000mhz ram and opted for the ASUS P6X58D PREmium Mobo, lower speed ram but more of it.... havent had the chance to change my signature, maybe a good time! thanks!

I think you overvalued the gpu, why would someone spend 3k for a used 5870 now, when they could get a 6950 for R2800, but besides that I agree with your suggested pricing.

More like overvalued the CPU, Motherboard, RAM and GPU. Probably other components too.

Sandy bridge 2500 alone costs 1.7K why on earth would anyone buy a 930 for 1.9k

you might want to include the warranties of each component for more realistic pricing

Antec 1000w modular PSU

..and specify which PSU range (AX/HX)

The only 1000 Watt Antec I know of is the TPQ 1000. I had one, they're very nice. AX and HX is Corsair anyways.

And I think the OP's subject of "Extreme Gaming Rig" is far from accurate, while very nice though. Last generation GPU's, not even hex core CPU, no SSD, no decent water cooling etc. For a high end build it's OK, certainly not Extreme...

ok ok, might have over done it with the "xtream" part, lol..... but really, on and i7, are you really going to use up all the cores and threads on the CPU and put it under 100% usage, unless you predominantly benchmarking or rendering....
PSU is a Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W.

Everything was bought Brand new just before rage last year, mostly from Ingram Micro in JHB, odd bits from prophecy shop and titan Ice....

Rather download windows 7 for free
not cool, hope u get a virus and BSOD for that... just coz u dont like the price they charge you for their software, dont give you the right to steal it then... pitty so many ppl have that level of mentality...

so if i had to say, R10k for the whole setup including all my games 30 on disk and about 30 on my steam account.... any takers?

d@mn ! and here i was about to offer 3k for just the box ...dont need the lcd, mouse, keyboard or any software ... :D

thats a bit low, 3k for
i7 -930
12gb RAM
mobo
PSU
2x 5870 2g matrix cards
case
cooling

i would say 7.5k for case withouts kb/mouse/ screen and games/software, extre 2.5k with everything, not looking to get ripped off here, just wanna get a MBP and thats the difference that i need to get it...
