Wasn't the best game from both teams, but the game was lost to the Lions as soon as Elton Jantjies came onto the field.

Oh dear... Again? He was *** for the Stormers and it seems he tries to be the same for the Lions and succeeds.

Cheetahs certainly not clinical enough today. At least three easy try scoring opportunities gone a begging....

Stokkies Hanekom is an exciting prospect for the Lions, looking forward to next year's SuperRugby.

Yeah, he reminds me a lot of Jacque Fourie.

I think it's going to be tough for any of the Lions to shine next year. Super rugby is brutal.

Thought the few scrum calls that went against the Lions proved decisive. Yes, I'm going to do the Saffer thing and blame the ref.

That and Elton's 0/2 goal kicking record, the 2nd of which was between the poles but short!!!! Couldn't have been more than a couple of meters short and a costly error in the end.

Enjoyed the 1st half of the WP/Bulls game. Kolbe and Gio reeking havoc. A pair of killer half pints. The small guys have to work so much harder to make an impact though. Hardly seems fair.

Edit: Ref had a good 1st half too. Quite impressed by Rasta..

Province decided they won 10 mins into the second half and Bulls capitalising... A draw is probably a fair reflection but Province can kick themselves

So in 3 games this weekend, the points difference overall was 3 points. Just about as tight as a duck's backside as this year's CC kicks off. Never would have given a draw to the WP v Bulls game. That's almost as good as a loss at home. Tough luck to a spirited Lions team who almost pulled it off. And the Sharks, even if the Griquas are a better team for the missing Boks, it is incredibly disappointing to see it lost at home. Eish!

Ok soooooo

I picked the Lions, the Bulls and the Freestate for this weekend.

I must say I am not to confident that I will take home anymore points than last weekend.

I think it has to do with this whole thing tomorrow being bigger than just an international game.

Oh, FFS, what am I doing - was I really trying to justify those fktards at saru that made these decisions. just ignore me.
