It's a win but some of the ref decisions were really up to schit.
 
Jeepers, what is going on with the refs?!

It's like they all picked up some strange virus that affects eyesight and normal brain functioning. It is having a very negative impact on rugby in a very competitive sport environment. Wherever and whenever rugby is the topic of discussion these days the main focus is the referees and not the actual game that was played. That is not good for the sport and the IRB will have to do something about this.

Then ... who is to say rugby is cleaner that other sport when it comes to match fixing etc? What gives rugby the right to claim it is morally superior to other sports? If Hansie Cronje could be persuaded to cheat then just about anyone can. I do not for a moment believe rugby refs are somehow so morally strong that they can withstand pressure from powerful entities to influence the outcome of games. I tell you guys, a bomb is waiting to go off in rugby in this regard. There is just no way that rugby can be so clean.

A few of us on here have long lamented a rot to the core. The only thing is the motive. Dunno if it is gambling : is there big money punting in this sport?

What happened to the sardines?

Province deserved the victory as they outplayed the sharks.
 
Cheetahs looking like contenders again (is it just me or does Strauss lift the team by around 10-15% when he is on the field?).

Good win for WP although it was not a pretty game.

The one good thing about the Bulls being out is they now have two more weeks to train :o

The Lions looked really shaky vs a very average Griekwas team...

WP will knock over the Lions easily next weekend barring a a series of blunders from the WP or four plus magical touches from the Lions.

The Sharks vs the Cheetahs will be very interesting.
 
I feel the Cheetahs are peaking at the right time (with the help of our returning Boks of course).

They had their best defensive game against the Bulls on Saturday. And if they continue with that they are a real threat to WP retaining the title.
 
It's gonna be raining at Newlands on Saturday, thereby leveling the playing field, anything can happen, so I am giving that game a fifty fifty chance of any side winning, up pass the Bluff, I am calling for the Cheetahsto take out the Sardines, I hate it when the majority have already cleared the WP and Sardines for the finals...

On current form and from what I can see leading up to this form, I reckon WP/Cheetahs final. The Cheetahs looked like they want to step up a gear and WP just continuing playing percentage rugby like they have done the whole season.

WP's pack of forwards should outclass the Lions' pack of forward by no small margin. this in wet weather is crucial.
Also the WP seems to have a maturity about them these days.

The Sharks / Cheetahs semi is a 60/40, in favour of the sharks, imo.

Funny how when the WP is playing percentage rugby it is fine, but when the bulls were doing it it was "boring" and "non-progressive". :D
