Currie Cup Champs?

Lions supporter :p you must be the last one. :D

:D

Keep in mind that we (the Lions) won all our games in the second halve of the competition, and that includes wins over the Bulls, Cheetahs, Sharks and WP. Granted, we had a bad start to the Currie cup season but the team did well to stay in the running right up to the end. They also had the longest winning streak than any other team in the competition!

So according to the way I see things, the best team did not make the semis! :D

Form saya; WP beat bulls twice, Sharks Beat WP, only "variable" is Freestate and they will take it again ..on speed! WMW! But I think Sharks deserve it!
LOL pupa, very funny indeed :D As I said, and let me remind you:

I actually don't agree. Rassie is better than Muir, .... the Bulls will have the battle hardened guys. Province beat them twice already, but probably not a third. Form says a Cheetah vs Bulls final of which the Bulls will get it.

What a game! Cheetahs vs Sharks!! MUCH better than the Bulls vs Province one and I'm a Province supporter

What on earth was Muir thinking making 6 changes to the published team? The commentators chirrped that 30 mins before kick-off the Sharks confirmed their published team. Has Muir been taking lessons from motor-mouth Putt? It backfired badly, LOL.

I just feel the Cheetahs won't be able to repeat such a fantastic performance another week that's all. I admire them though and will be happy if they win but the Bulls have been there before and they will do it again.

Impressive win by the Bulls! Another great game by Spies! Imho totally overshadowed Watson!.
Cheetah - Shark game a bit of a let down, especially after the Cheetahs great start. Great game by Floors!

Anyway, next week will be interesting. Based on todays games the Bulls will take it.

Guess I'm eating humble pie today.

and I'm going to be taking all week dammit. :o

Me too.

I think it was just too hot at Loftus for the WP, I was sitting in the first row opposite the main pavillion and gulped nearly three 500ml Cokes!

Very difficult to watch the rugby when the Bulls Babes are dancing in front of you - I think I missed half the game!!

You the guy that took of his WP jersey at the end? ;)

He says he was looking at the Bulls Babes so he probably took off his pants :p

I couldn't get up to take off my pants! There were 50 000 blue bull fans behind me, imagine they thought I'm throwing a brown eye at them?

*The guy that took off his shirt, is a bad looser & a hensopper! Even in defeat, you stay proud.

If the Lions were the best team they wouldn't have had a shyte start to the season.

So, I actually enjoyed the game at loftes, however almost killed the commentator behind me. English chap about 50 years old. Everytime there's a penalty he'll say "the ref obviously is not a WP supporter". Then he complains about this and that penalty the ref overlooked. And finally when there is a penalty, he doesn't even know why the penalty was awarded. Guess who he supported.

I must say by the time I was leaving, it was either kill him or make "kid"-sicles (ie popsicles).

You will be amazed how ugly people can get when things are not going their teams' way.

Well Wp was not the best team on the day so good for the Bulls. Hope VRYSTAAT win them though. :D

WP had like 3-4 opportunities where they could basically just run in for the try... just not up to it.
On the day it may the difference, so grats to the Bulls.

Spies is THE best rugby player in SA. He does not have an equal.
