Currie Cup Champs?

When, not if, the Cheetahs win, it will make "Disco Rassie" the best coach in SA rugby. 2 in a row and that from his first season? I think we will refer to him as "Rassie Shumacher"

Well done to BOTH teams. What a game!! Will go down as one of the best!
Rassie for the next Springbok coach!

Both teams deserve this, they have given it their all and although you don't want to see a draw, it was hard to pick a winner. The Bulls almost threw it away with their dirty tactics and deserved the two yellow cards. Hilton Lobberts must be one of the dirtiest I've seen, he totally loses it and lashes out with his arms.

Rugby won in the end!

There were some heart-thumping moments there - especially when it looked like the Bulls were going to win with that penalty in XT. The Cheetahs were a bit unlikely in the end as they led up until the 78th minute but a rather 'lucky' pass that could have been intercepted went right into Nels' hands.

Brilliant game - very exciting to watch & I chewed off all my nails.

I think what Joel said after the game, is true : It would have been unfair to both teams if they had to be the loser.

*Lobberts will get a red card against England if he plays like he played today.

Yup, what's the guy thinking? Does he think "agression" like that will get him anywhere? I hope being in the touring party doesn't go to his head. I was shouting at Kaplan to penalise him cause he went totally overboard! It was interesting to note though how quickly he ran out of steam and started to fade..:D

Lobberts = Lobster.

I think if the English realise that they can press ol' Lobster's button, they'll tempt him, he will see red & then be shown red.

And then we're playing with 14 Springboks at Twickenham again.

C'mon guys. You can't blame a 20-year-old to get g'd up for such an important match! He's still a good player, even if he's not playing for your team! He deserves the chance he got with the Boks. With time he'll learn not to be overly aggressive!

This game was hyped to the sky and it was no surprise to see a yellow card or two. Freestate was also kind of lucky not to receive a yellow card! Especially for acting! That Burger guy could really teach one or two soccer players a thing or two about acting wounded after a tackle!

Anyway, great game! Especially for Floors, once again had a storming game. He must surely be close to the Springbok team!

Hey, the soccer players have fine-tuned the art of acting injuries - Burger is still an infant compared to them.
(Unless it's Arsenal players doin' it, then it's OK.)

*Kabamba Floors will be a Springbok next year - he is absolutely brilliant. And - he's got a lot of heart. My favourite.

Al wat ek weet is dit gaan 'n close een wees, baie close...

Hoop wel die bulle wen. Gaan dit nie kan kyk, ek gaan by a funksie wees, te minste is die chicks wat daar gaan wees sexy

Was I right or was I right?

I got to watch it on a big projector at the function. It was grand! :D

*Whatever! The guy ran into Roeds, he could have angled and missed him...

**True...

Sigh... Difficult for the Bulls to beat the Cheetahs and the Ref. Still a very good game.

 :p

Does nobody think (as I do) that Gary Botha was a wuss for not running that last penalty? I mean wtf, didn't he want to win? Goes against all the bulls have been about forever.

I think it would've spoilt a fantastic match & day.
