I Think the Final is the biggest joke ever. The Blue Bulls could have won the game if they kicked the penalty, but what does they do,they kick the ball out and the result of that stupid decision is sharing the Currie Cup with the FreeState
 
I totally aggree with you, Stormer208... I was fuming after the game. It was a 60 odd meter kick, but Morne could have tried it.

The reason they didn't try is because odds would be he might miss [wasn't a straight kick , was from the side line ] ....if he missed, the cheetahs would still be able to run it . And if anyone followed the last 3 cheetah games and noticed how they got their tries you might have noticed it is from their own goal line.
At that stage of the game [100 minutes] this exactly the kind of thing that happens [final kick, everyone dead tired, no concentration...and you have a philip burger catching the ball..]

I assume everyone also did see the final attempts at drop goals from the cheetahs....would you really want to give them another chance, for the sake of "trying to kick the penalty" ?

What are you talking about? I was mainly reffering to the fact that the Currie Cup is over, and the WP only managed to get into the semis. I wasn't trying to get a reaction out of anyone.... :rolleyes:

Have u ACTUALLy looked at the log big mouth? The Sharks were 4th, hence they played the 1st team being Cheetahs, duh :rolleyes:
WP was 3rd and played the Bulls?
Omac tried the same stunt but he didn't get a reaction, now u trying the same lame stunt??

I think the Currie Cup Final should be played again as there clearly wasn't a result:( . Both the Cheetahs and the Blue Bulls were BIG LOSERS:D . C'mon guys the Currie Cup is just one of those things that CANNOT be shared.:D

My bad. I seem to have my facts all mixed up. I thought that the WP came in 4th, and now you tell me they didn't. So here's my new line:
