Custom ringtone..

Hi, I used to create my custom ringtones using itunes, now I see apple has removed the option to "Convert Selection to AAC" in the new version of itunes, what is the alternatives (free) to create my own custom ringtones?

Why? People are able to make ringtones for all other phones using their mp3's, why should I not be able to do the same with music I legally bought?

I meant the open source application, Audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Correct!! Edit, Preferences and import settings allows you to choose encoder/format and then once a track is selected click on advanced and create...... version....

Hehe SOZ man, I thought it had something to do with making custom ringtones hehe anyway thanks!

Ok, I know it's not a free app but Ringer is absolutely soooooo simple and amazing - literally takes like 5 seconds to make a ringtone I have tried all the free ways of making ringtones but the convenience of Ringer is soooo worth the $15 (I actually still got it at half price on Macupdate).
