How about you post the bank account details for the Polish customs service you've been asked to pay money into? It's a government agency so you won't be doing anything wrong.

Here's a simple solution to your problem, tell your boyfriend to pay the $850.

And what sane person sends 2mil worth of post around the world for another person to deal with? It's gonna be headaches at every port.
 
Thank you guys for your advice, i got the package this morning delivered to my doorstep... Fiance came through....
