I really wanted this game to be what they promised.
But it wasn't and after reading the massive patch note document, it will never be.
It's just bug fixes and a few tweaks.
The open world experience looks great, but crap to play in and it will stay that way.

Honestly, the game looks crap. Never got what the hype was about in the first place.

Bought the game a few days after launch and think in that time before the major patches the game crashed twice and after the patch before this one I didn't experience anything yet... just started a fresh play through. Need to update and will see how this update fairs for me. Bought the game for PC.

On any decent hardware.. .yes and yes.
On console carp from 8 years ago. No. Because they're consoles. They were outdated before they released.

If we can get the original Doom running on a pregnancy test, we can get Cyberpunk 2077 running at a stable 30 fps on 8 year old console hardware.

I went in again to see if I can now do the one gig I still need to do. My game now simply crashes whenever I get close to the area. 6 crashes in a row. Will try again with next patch.

I did the update, started the game and was met with all windows turning black and all icons disappearing from the task bar.
CDPR should get an award for this amazing piece of software

Oh boy, so downloaded the update and .... It's borken
Before in the past I could play for an hour or two before crashing ! Wonder how much they will break it next month !?

No,
It's not automatic.
Game creates a second save at the point of no return where you make a non changeable choice, right before the last mission.
When you finish the game you need to load that save if you want to keep playing or make a different end game decision.

Im not the only one with this issue:

Can't continue the game after completing the game
(first of all English is not my native language, so sorry for that) I want to explain the problem as much as I can. I finished the game, finished as an afterlife legend. After the game is over I click "sure, just one more gig" and the game goes to the main menu and clicking contunie doesnt fix...
