The new patch for the PC and PS4 dropped today, it has made a hell of difference and actually looks quiet good on PS4 base models ( I watched a streamer earlier on youtube ) Hardly no stutters / frame rates sorted and generally looks better.

The Xbox one update will only come out later this week tho :(

PS4 / PS4 Pro is trash no matter how you look at it.

 
I have finally reached a point where the side quests are level gated. I can take enemies above my level, but when you reach a point where stealth and hacks are useless against them then you need to turn on heel and get the dodge out of there. I just tried a battle over and over again until I won it, took me around 30min to kill 5 enemies. Used human shields to achieve my goals, but not going into too much detail. I am currently level 17 and these places drop items in the level 30s. I got a legendary katana levelled 32 which is close to twice my current level. I don't mind the high level drops as they are worth a pretty penny.

Also, once you start to buy vehicles they get a lot better. My go-to car at the moment is the Type-66 Avenger.
 
Soooooo...

Out of curiosity.. are there sex scenes in the game? :unsure: If not then what's the point of the level of full frontal nudity in character customization?

This robot in the box drops a legendary and guess what?

I went far back with my saves, robot stays in the box.
 
Took the Rayfield Caliburn for a spin, wow, what a car. 1660 HP, slow for that HP but rather fast and its sound is based off of a Carrera GT.


Anyone bought the 911 Turbo yet?
 
It actually runs on my GTX670.
Not slow either.

My specs:
Old Asrock mobo.
i7 2600K
SATA 3, 1TB HDD
8GB 1066Mhz RAM (dual channel)

It loads 10 times faster than NFS Heat or Horizon Zero Dawn.
It's on low graphics settings and doesn't look bad at all. Looks a lot like an Unreal Engine Game.
Played about a half an hour and really enjoyed it. A storm kicked up. So I'll play again.

Edit: added CPU.

I have finally purchased the Akira bike, and I am fully kitted out with legendary mantis blades with some of the most powerful augmentations in this game. I am level 20 and already to OP for some really difficult parts in the game. I only do stealth when the mission allows for stealth bonuses, otherwise I just roll into the action, everything slows down and it is mantis time. Haven't even done 10% of the main quest line yet.

I have fully completed Watson and Westbrook. The police scanner missions takes a while, but otherwise I am making slow progress towards 100% completion, and I guess since my game opened up after the interlude that this may indeed be a +175 hrs game for full completion. I am going to take a break after today. There is an element of redundancy for side gigs, and CDPR have disguised fetch quests pretty well.

I also have a couple of side missions in an unfinished state, it just refuses to complete. More patching is needed. I just don't hope that further patching breaks current save games.

I would like a new game+ mode...

Lastly, I tested the difficulty settings, and I am hardly noticing a difference between hard and very hard so I don't know what the incentive is here though I am still early in the game, but clearly too powerful for my level. I am level 20 with street cred at 42.
