dont think that would help StoneCold
Wonder if it's router related or Cybersmart related. If it's just me and you affected could be router related...Yup, mine is down.....sigh....disconnected, again.
Yesterday between 9:15 and 10.03 to be precise one of our upstream providers had planned maintenance ( 4am their time), they omitted to notify us. When we discovered the outage at 9:15 we rerouted traffic. It takes a little time for the bgp routes to propogate and the one route was down so there was major intermittance in this timeframe. Traffic was rerouted trhough this provider around about 3pm yesterday which also resulted in some route propogation, but that change was planned so it would only have been slightly noticeable.
There were two other outages one on 24 December when the plan upgrade failed
We have not had any issues since then. There is a general shortage of capacity at the moment specifically during the day, this will result
in slow browsing but certainly no disconnects. we are praying that more capacity will be available at the end of the month, early next month.
This is what Laurie Fialkov at Cybersmart had to say about the issue...

* Sigh *
Again off and on.
Constant time-outs. Resetting the router does nothing. Been this way since before Xmas.
* Sigh *
DLoads start off well then fizzle to nothing! Time-out. Try again.
Reminding me more and more of IBurst... Cybersmart say nothing wrong.
