Is anyone else getting authentication problems to Cybersmart? (I am not capped :-) )

I also cannot open their web page to check usage etc.
 
Yes not connecting at all, if you are capped you should still connect, but only able too connect too cybersmart.co.za to check your acount and email.
 
Thanks - hopefully they will up to their usual good service and be online soon.
 
Same problem, PAP authentication failed. Wonder if we are allowed to use other ISP's when this happens? :P
 
We can just hope that their main link has not formed part of some "wealth distribution" scheme...

Although that's contrary to their terms of service they'd probably not moan about it if it's a service that they are not providing like local-only accounts.

I think their main reason is to cut down on the "I can't log in" support calls when people keep fiddling with their ADSL login details for multiple accounts.

Their web site is down too.

Hehe - I would imagine 50% of all users have ALREADY fiddled their settings by now, in the hope of getting the authentication to work :-)
 
Have you actually tried getting hold of them when something like this happens?
Good luck! They have ONE emergency number which doesn't get answered,with no recorded message stating that there is a problem. Frustrates me no end.
 
Most TOS can be safely ignored, as long as you don't do anything legal in which case it is a police matter anyway, the worst they can do is refuse service( what you don't want my money? ).

Getting this problem again - anyone else getting it too?

My ISDSL works fine - and yes, I DO have two ISPS Cybersmart :-)
 
I'm on Cybersmart and I'm not having any problems, just call them, they usually solve the problem quickly. 086 100 FAST
 
It came back up at 7:55am. Their website was also down this morning.
