Cycling

Now if only Tadej had the Olympic gold as well lol.

Season 2025 starts tomorrow. First stage of TDU. Lets hope its another good one and everyone stays safe.

Took part in the Munga Pretoria East Sword Series, completed 3 laps (total 156km) within the 24 hour cut off. Very chuffed, and somewhat dead

Very well organised and a great route, will try for 4 laps next year.

You only used the ine light? I run one on my helmet and one on the bar.. Then you have light shining where you look as well as some redundancy . I had a couple of Marvel lights i gor from Chris Williamse aka Cycle Lab now but the battery packs are finished unfortunately.

What lights did you use? I need to replace mine as winter approaches.
Have a look over here, awesome products and excellent after sales service.

My first event riding in the dark, I will definitely be adding a helmet light for the next stint! Found myself almost cycling into ditches and had to constantly adjust where the light was pointing, not ideal. Thankfully 80% of my ride was in daylight.

Did you guys watch Paris-roubaix?

Great race. Well done Van der Poel for winning his 3rd title in a row. And well done Pogacar (this year's tdf champ btw) for almost winning on his first ever attempt :p

Anyway, I see the moron who threw a full bottle at Van der Poel's face handed himself over to Police.

Great tension filled race between the two big guns in the sport. The whole time I'm just worried for any of them getting a puncture, and it was unfortunate that Pedersen got one, he would have been up there with van der Poel and Pogacar for sure. Pogacar would not have won this year, van der Poel was just that much stronger... but he will in the future. It's good for Pogacar to experience this race and now he can prepare much better for a future event. It's much more physical and relentless... it's an endurance race of note. He was already cooked with about 30kms to go, but he still tried.

Really despicable what that spectator did throwing the bottle in van der Poel's face.

Pogacar will also be doing the next 3 Ardennes classics, so let's see if he will win those again. :p

You're quite sure on the TDF win for Pogacar.

Well, I prefer caution (count chickens before they hatch)... it's still a few months away... and in cycling things have a funny way of going wrong... ask Vinegar. :whistling:
