Hate stages like today where everyone is just hanging out and joking around. Really annoying

Uh oh Pogacar has again been dropped by Vingegaard in the mountains.

Not good for my predictions. :(

Yeah no that was again terrible for Pogacar. Great for Jonas for again dropping most of his rivals but even better for Hindley.

Really thought Pogacar was in better shape for this year's Tour.

A part of me wonders how much of Tadej's response today was with tomorrow in mind. The other part just think Jonas destroyed him.

Nah I think it's more the latter. Like you said, just like last year.

Haha Meintjes had the top speed of the Tour so far yesterday at 105km/h.

Much much better from Pogacar!

He didn't destroy Jonas like Jonas did to him yesterday but still...

Vingegaard looked spent after the stage. Tadej in contrast looked ready to do some more kilometers.
That being said, 25 seconds is a handy lead. Barring any accidents this already looks like a two horse race.

So I'm no expert, but today is 'flat' according to the webpage. Will it be a sort of 'recovery' ride for the race leaders?

Yes, exactly that. Today and tomorrow will likely be bunch sprint finishes, with a breakaway or two trying they luck. GC contenders will just make sure they don't lose any time to one another.

Yup, flattest stage of this year's Tour so it's all about the sprinters today.

I just hope it's not another stage with no breakaways and everyone joking around..

With Philipsen's dominance in the sprints I can't imagine the other teams will just sit back. There are bound to be breakaway attempts.

There's a lone guy in the break today. No one else interested. Couple of other guys were with him but were called back to the peloton where everyone is just chilling again :(

Looks like it's gonna be another long, boring day again. For us and for the poor guy in front.

Notwithstanding the couple of sprint days, the guys have an average of over 3000 meters climbing per day in their legs. I don't think people understand just how hard the start to this year's tour has been. If the riders need to recover a bit I would cut them some slack.

So far this has been like a typical second or even third week . As an opening week this has been exceedingly difficult. And it isn't over yet

Yip I know it's been a pretty tough. Doesn't change the fact that the couple of flat/sprint stages have been incredibly boring so far except for the sprints/finish.

Always hoping for breakaway victories which def won't happen today. At least the scenery is nice lol.

I'll genuinely be surprised if there aren't a few more breakaway attempts today.
