Fun to watch today. Tadaj definitely more explosive, Jonas a little more endurance. The problem for Jonas is he has more than a minute he needs to make up so he can't just sit on Tadej's wheel

Man, Roglic has had some terrible luck these last few years.

Also, some terrible sprinting from Cavendish. Immediately said he would be penalized so no surprise that he was. Dude was all over the place.

Bit sh1tty of VLAB to ride like that after he crashed. Pleased UAE was not part of it.

Bad luck for Roglic, but also a bit poor from him. He should know better than not to be near the front when the pace starts picking up.

Stage 11. Remember seeing this a couple of years ago as well

UAE were perfect. Adam is an amazing rider, so clever so professional. Nils is just a monster. Tadej is the goat.

A bit early to make that call, but he's heading in that direction.
I think it will be impossible to really compare across generations. It's quite possible in the modern team environment Mercx may not have thrived, equally without modern team support Tadej may be nowhere.

But in the modern cycling era (by modern I mean post the institutionalised doping era) Pogi is the goat.
