Here's my scenario...I have a D-Link DSL-2640U set up to use PPPoE to connect to an ADSL account. My network consists of 3 PCs and a server which are all connected to the router directly.

I want to configure this setup so that the server is on a seperate ADSL account. I've played around with the PPPoE and Bridged modes but can't seem to figure out how to get it to play nicely. I don't know whether I should use PPPoE or Bridged mode for the second account or how to link only the server to the second account.

I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Hi werner. If you don't mind creating a PPPoE connection with the server every time, it's easiest to achieve your goal with the router in half-bridged mode.

I'm not sure whether it's the same, but on my DSL-2500U, you just create the 1st account's PPPoE connection and dial account 2's connection from the server. No additional setup required.
